CHARRED WOOD
FOR FACADE, TERRACE, SAUNA
Charred wood combines exceptional durability, timeless beauty and environmental awareness. The traditional charring process makes wood naturally more resistant to moisture, pests and fire, significantly extending its service life without the need for constant maintenance. The deep texture and rich tone create a distinctive and dignified appearance in architecture, while the material's natural origin and longevity make it a responsible choice in modern construction.
Four wood species to choose from:
- Scandinavian spruce
- Thermally treated spruce
- European larch
- Thermally treated Radiata pine (knot-free)
Available in eight tones:

Half-lap joint. An expansion gap is left between the boards, so the wood can swell as humidity rises and shrink as it dries.

Transport and unloading. The prices shown apply ex works (EXW). Transport and unloading on site are quoted separately for each order — they depend on the quantity, the board lengths and the location of the site. Tell us where the material is going and how much you need, and we will add the exact logistics cost as a separate line on the quote.
The linear metre price is calculated from the full board width. On a half-lap board part of the width sits under the cover, so a square metre takes more linear metres than the full width suggests. Screws and fixings are not included in the price.
CALCULATE AND REQUEST A QUOTE
1 · Wood species and use
2 · Board width
3 · Wall or deck area
4 · Fitting and cutting allowance
Recommended 10%. It covers offcuts and rejects — take less if your measurements are exact.
5 · Overlap allowance
On a half-lap board part of the width sits under the neighbouring board, so you need more board than wall area. The percentage applies to the width you chose. For a smooth board installed with gaps, choose 0%.
